I'm riding for....
Firstly thank you for jumping on board and donating to a good cause, any donation is much appreciated. As you may be aware our son Joseph has autism and while being on the high functioning end of the spectrum there’s a lot of children out there that aren’t. Lucky enough Joseph has had early intervention to help him socialise in the modern society. Unfortunately there are children out there that haven’t had the opportunity or the support to fund and receive early intervention.
On September 22nd @4pm head down to Fleet cycles Mandurah where myself and a few like minded individuals will connect up to our Wahoo Kickr trainers and attemp to ride a minimum of 500kms as a group in 3 hrs! At the event there will be food, drinks, coffee and prizes you can also try out the new Wahoo Kickr trainer.
I’m riding for autism to help create a world where no-one on the autism spectrum is left behind.
I’ll be challenging myself to ride on Sunday 22nd of September while raising much needed funds to support people on the autism spectrum.
An estimated 1 in every 70 people is on the spectrum. Along with their family members, this means autism is a part of daily life for over a million Australians.
People on the spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. For many, simply coping with the everyday can lead to confusion, anxiety and isolation.
By coming together and taking action, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.
Help make my ride count and show your support by donating today!
