My target 500 kms
Day 7
Having pushed hard all week, I am pleased to see the back end of the early mornings and late night rides. It goes to show that if you want to achieve something it is possible, but just means you have to make time to do it. With just 65kms to go, I can't believe that it's nearly done.Day 3
Started at 4am, and pushed out another 34kms. Now to get ready for work, the but back to it tonight when I get home. Tonight I'm aiming for at least 33kms.Day 2
Day 2 was a fair bit harder, mainly to have the hours free to spin the legs. But very happy to have been able to get closer to my target.day 1
Day 1 over and done! Very challenging after not spending a lot of time on the bike in recent months. Knew I was in trouble last week, but my determination to reach the 500km mark in 7 days remains. The working week will be more of a struggle given the reduced hours, but will make sure it works. I put in extra hours for work, so I can do the same for this.I'm riding for....
I’m riding for autism to help create a world where no-one on the autism spectrum is left behind.
I've set my challenge and I'll be riding from Sunday 4 - 11 July while raising much needed funds to support people on the autism spectrum.
An estimated 1 in every 70 people is on the spectrum. Along with their family members, this means autism is a part of daily life for over a million Australians.
People on the spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. For many, simply coping with the everyday can lead to confusion, anxiety and isolation.
By coming together and taking action, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.
Help make my ride count and show your support by donating today!
Fantastic effort Tony in completing your target., well done mate.
