Increasing my distance goal!
Due to so many amazing donations from everyone, I'm bumping up my distance goal from 150km to 250km. This works out to be about 45km per day during the ride dates which I think is achievable as long as the weather is ok! I am kitted up to ride in the rain, however it is obviously a lot more dangerous so I will avoid the rain if I can. What an amazing response within the first 24 hours!
I feel humbled by the generous support of our friends and family which has pushed the donations past my goal of $500 within a time period of about 12 hours. Thank you so much to every person and family who has donated to this great cause! Every one of you holds a special place in our hearts :-)Riding for Bristol
After a few red-flags were raised late last year we got a diagnosis early this year that our youngest daughter Bristol has ASD. Bristol is a beautiful little 2 year-old with plenty of energy and love for her twin sister and the rest of our family. We have a great team working with her to help her regulate her emotions and sensory reactions, improve her speech and behave more socially around her sisters and children her age. She is one of the many apples-of-my-eye and I will do anything to see that broad smile and sparkling eyes looking happily and lovingly back at me.
Being involved in this ride to raise money for services to help people like Bristol and others with ASD is very close to my heart and any donations to my ride and this organisation will be welcomed with open arms.
I’m riding for autism to help create a world where no-one on the autism spectrum is left behind.
I've set my challenge and I'll be riding from Sunday 4 - 11 July while raising much needed funds to support people on the autism spectrum.
An estimated 1 in every 70 people is on the spectrum. Along with their family members, this means autism is a part of daily life for over a million Australians.
People on the spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. For many, simply coping with the everyday can lead to confusion, anxiety and isolation.
By coming together and taking action, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.
Help make my ride count and show your support by donating today!

What a wonderful cause to ride for ASD! When I heard about this page and your ride, I was inspired. I will pass on this link. Bristol is such a beautiful little girl and thanks to your dear heart and your generosity, you are giving her and others with ASD a chance to live a fulfilling life. Speaking as one with ASD, I know what such awareness and empathy means - it is priceless. Good luck with your ride Paul, and all the best to your little girl.

You both have a will and determination to breeze through life challenges so composed whatever is thrown to you. By far the most humble and down to earth people I know, big hearts and beautiful souls.
